For today’s Bible-based craft, we’ll be doing a craft about the great patriarch, Abraham.
What You Need:
- Several cookie cutters in star shapes
- Black construction paper
- Paper Plates
- Gold and silver paint (I get mine at Discount School Supply)
- White paint (optional)
- Paint smocks (optional)
What You Do:
Gather up your star cookie cutters. Beg, borrow and steal if you have to. Wait. Don’t steal. That would be bad. It would be ideal to have one for each child.
Pour the paint onto paper plates, one color per plate and have kids dip the cookie cutter in and paint a star onto the black construction paper. They may want to do more than one paper, so be prepared for that!
It was a huge hit with the kids! Older kids can write a verse (listed above) across the bottom if they’d like. If you have a metallic sharpie, even better!
