We have wrapped up the Story Time and Art in the Park program a bit early this year due to a new little one in our family. This year, we concluded the park programs with an amazing art show, curated by our amazing outreach director. Throughout the summer, we allowed kids to submit work for the art show and then invited them to an art show at the end of July. Check out the results!
Anne took the time to “frame” all the pictures and put up a description next to each set.
String Art, inspired by Jackson Pollock
For the story time pictures, she also noted the book that inspired the projects.
Water color and Leaf Prints
Art inspired by the book, Mix It Up!
We set up a display to showcase all the books we had read during story time. The kids really liked seeing their favorite books again and it highlighted what an amazing resource our local library is!
These were some of my favorite paintings: Water color and salt
Beautiful Spider Web
Centipede Preschool Class
We even had a giveaway table, which the older kids loved!
Hope you enjoyed the art show!
