Have you ever been to a new place and suddenly realized you need to use the bathroom and you have no idea where they are? Even worse — have you ever been somewhere with a 2-year old freshly potty trained kids and tried to locate a bathroom? Finding a bathroom is a very important matter, and it’s one way that we can help kids feel welcome and comfortable in our environment.
Often, the signs for bathrooms are high and slightly confusing to kids, especially if they are non-readers. We decided to put bright signs right at the kids’ eye level in order to help them find the bathroom and figure out which one is for girls and which one is for boys. Take a look:
Easy to spot!
We laminated the signs for durability. To attach them to the doors, we put up sticky Velcro Dots both on the backs of the signs and the door. Quick and painless to remove. And easy to switch out the sign if we need.
(sorry, it’s a little blurry)
(As you can see, it’s already suffered a little damage!)
