Welcome to my third annual “31 Days” series.  For the last two years, I’ve focused on Bible Crafts (or Bible based crafts) and that seemed to be a big hit with my readers.  This year, the theme will be similar, but I may feature some games, skits, and other lesson ideas. It’s the perfect excuse for my to archive all our projects and clean out the photo files as well!   Ready to get started?

Welcome to the 2105 Series: 31 Days of Bible Lesson Extras!

31 Days of Bible Lesson Extras

COMING SOON: Table of Contents for all the posts in the series!

To start things off, I’m going to show a few of the projects we worked on in our Children’s Church as we were studying the book of Daniel.

Daniel 1: Daniel Chooses Not to Eat

Daniel Chooses Not to Eat

For this first chapter, we made “good food” plates using magazines. Read all about it in this post.

Daniel 2: The Kings Dream

To help us remember the lesson on King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream (the giant statue), we reconstructed statues of our own:

Daniel 2: The King's Dream

You can find the craft to assemble your own at Bible Crafts and Activities

Daniel 3: The Fiery Furnace

For this lesson, we reenacted the story with our own fiery furnace:

Fiery Furnace: Dramatic Lesson Time

And made fiery furnace paper plate crafts:

Fiery Furnace: Daniel 3 Craft Time

Read all about it here!

Daniel 5: Writing on the Wall

Daniel Writing on the Wall (2)

For this chapter, we made water color pictures using a template from Bible Class Creations.  The kids loved this water color resist craft and it was a lot of fun to see the words “appear” on their page.
