All this month, we’ve been talking about Friendship during our Wednesday night kids program. This week, the bottom line was: Friends Serve Each other. The 252Basics curriculum included a fictional story about some school friends, but I wasn’t completely satisfied with the lesson. I wanted to talk about all the instances of people serving God or others in the Bible, but wasn’t quite sure how to present the material.
Of course, when in doubt, make a jeopardy game!!
I usually design a board with a poster board and my trusty note cards, but since we use “big screen” on Wednesday nights, I wanted to try and design a powerpoint jeopardy board.
This is the result: Friends Serve Each Other Jeopardy Game

Categories include: Old Testament, New Testament, Jesus and Friends, and Memory Verse — all centered on the theme of Friends Serve Each Other.
Basically, we started on the first slide and kids would pick a category and point value.
Then, Mr. Joe our A/V man erased the box from the main slide.
It seemed to work pretty well, but if you’ve got a better method — I’d love to hear about it!
We even grabbed the Jeopardy theme music from Freegal (for free!).
Hope it helps!
