My New Years resolution for 2014 is t I grow closer to God than ever before, to bring my ministry to a whole new level (we are Children’s pastors) and to be the best homeschooling mama that I can be. It’s out first year of homeschooling this year so it’s been a lot of trial and error but I think we have finally figured out a way that works for us!

  15. I don’t have a resolution, per se, but I do have a goal of getting the questionnaires for my book distributed, filled out, collected, and the answers recorded during 2014. Wouldn’t it be great to accomplish that?

  16. Stephanie Post says:

My New Year resolution is to work hard at making our home and family a beckon of light that shines the Glory of Jesus Christ! To bring more of the Word into the hearts and minds of our children and ourselves. For us all to live more like Jesus, be more loving towards others, be examples of our Heavenly Father. To be more thankful, pray more often and harder, especially for our teenager who has strayed away. I have faith that when he see’s and hears the changes being made within us, and his little brother and sister, that he will thirst for the same thing, desire for the same relationship and changes to his life as well. To God be the glory! He is in control of 2014 as He is in every second of the day.

  17. I resolve to do one kind act every day and become better organized at home and work.

  18. I don’t usually make New Year’s Resolutions but this year I really am resolving to move myself and my family towards Christ like never before. Teaching my children to pray and to spend time with Him by showing them how and incorporating it into our homeschool day. 🙂

  19. My goals for this year are to save more, spend less, spend more time with God and helping my family grow closer as well, remove clutter fromymy life and get a teaching job, sice I graduated in December.

At church ~ help families of preschoolers and help them realize we do more than just babysit.

  20. My New Years Resolutions is to try to do all things better in my life! Be an even better mom in 2014, work even harder on my relationship with my Lord and Savior, be the wife God chose for me to be and to push my 5th graders even harder to achieve their goals and succeed in life!

  21. My New Year’s resolution is to beat the negativity of education by demonstrating the joy of Jesus and His plan for my life each and every day. I also vow to love on and and increase the minds of my young, special needs students so that their only conclusion for my actions is that they are treasured by a great and mighty Savior who made them so unique!

  22. Jennifer Mendes says:

To continue in eating healthier and losing weight. Me and my husband started December 2, and he has lost 21 and I have lost 8:) To keep my heart focused on the Lord. Seeking Him now regarding my outlook on homeschooling my two boys, and a women’s study I am apart of. My heart was in the wrong place at the end of this year. Thank you for this giveaway:)

  23. Be a better mom to my son. Find better specialists for him in a few areas that we’ve been struggling to get help with.

  24. Christina L says:

My resolution is to FOCUS. Focus on my relationship with God, focus on my husband and be more of a prayer warrior and support for him in his ministry, focus on my children and their spiritual growth, focus on the kids in the many different ministries I lead;leading them more fervently to Christ.

  25. My new resolution is to get more organized with school, and to incorporate Bible more into our school day.

  26. I have 2 – one is to manage my time better, and the other is to start weeding out “bad” foods from our diet.

  27. My resolution is to organize our school/toy room.

  28. I like to pick a word rather than make resolutions. My word for 2014 is present. I chose it to remind me to be truly present in each moment. In other words, to put this phone down and give God, my husband, my kids, etc my full attention and to be aware of the many distractions that pull me away.

  29. That’s a great resolution, Emily. One that I can really relate to — have you heard of the hands free mom? I think she has a blog. I read a post a few years back from her that really impacted the way I spend my time with the kids. Thanks for sharing!

  30. My resolution is to “focus.” Focus on what I’m doing at that moment – whether it’s family, friends, God or self-“improvement”.

  31. My husband, children and I are moving to France for a year to begin language preparation for moving to West Africa. We are Christian missionaries working with pioneer bible translators. My resolution is to bust my butt and learn French, above the mid level proficiency test so that I can speak the gospel clearly to the one woman in our village that speaks French. We have 2 children and will be working in an Islam focused area. The resources I bring could dramatically impact their lives. Thanks for considering me! Happy new year.

  32. My new years resolution is to learn French more than the medium proficiency level. My husband and I are missionaries for Jesus in West Africa. In January we will leave for language school in Lyon France and We are bringing our two young children with us. The amazing thing is that there are children all around the world have not had a chance to learn how much Jesus loves them. These amazing resources can definitely help beautiful children learn. Learning French will help me communicate to the west African government and military. It will also help me to speak to the one woman in our village who speaks French and teach her about Jesus.

  33. One of my goals this year as our kidmin grows is to multiply leaders.

  34. Ritzy Muckel says:

New Year’s Resolution is to continue to bring relevance, mindfulness, and personalize into my 2nd grade classroom.

  36. Rhonda Stone says:

My resolution is to expand and Incorporate more literature into my classroom environment…the more my class has to read the better chance I have of finding that one book that catches my students attention and sparks a love for reading.

  37. I resolve to be more patient. I will give each student the time they deserve–whether I am swamped, overwhelmed, busy or not!

  38. Shoot! What time zone are you in? Well, my resolutions are many. One of them is to memorize a verse of scripture with my children and husband each week!

  39. Ahhh! Katelyn, we’re EST and you missed the deadline. What a bummer! We’ve been doing Scripture (one a month) for a few months now and I’m amazed at how even my 2 year old really memorizes them!
