Friday, June 8th
- Summer Grand Opening at the ExpERIEnce Children’s Museum. Event starts @ 10AM with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony. Special appearance by Ronald McDonald! From 11AM-3Pm, professional face painters will be available to decorate your child! (Cost: Admission)
- South Harborcreek Methodist Rummage Sale; starts at 9AM
Saturday, June 9th
- Kids Yoga Class at the Children’s Museum (Saturdays in June). This first introductory class is FREE of charge! 2-4 year old meet from 9am-10am and 5-7 year old meet from 10:30am-11:30am. Pre-registration required. Call 814.453.3743 to register.
- South Harborcreek Methodist Rummage Sale; starts at 9AM
- KidFest at the Arboretum; 11AM-4PM. Details here. (We stopped by here last year and they had a great petting zoo!); Free.
- Romolo Chocolate Music Series; 6-9PM
- Get Outdoors Day; Free Entrance Day at National Parks!
- Gibson Days; 10AM-6PM (crafts, food, music) Free.
- Lighthouse Tour; 1-4PM $5 for Adults, Kids 12 and under free. Details 755-3672
Sunday, June 10th
- Great American Book Sale at Villa Maria starts @ Noon (till 8PM). One of my favorite summer events!!
- Gibson Days; 12-6PM (crafts, food, music) Free.
As for us, we’ll be headed to the zoo tomorrow morning. On Saturday, we’ll be hitting the neighborhood block sale at Oak Tree Court , and we’ll be hopefully be headed to the Great American Book Sale on Sunday! What about you?
