Somehow, Pastor appreciation month always seems to sneak up on us. Can you relate? I thought I’d get you thinking ahead by posting one of the projects we did a few years back to surprise our pastor and let him know how much we appreciate him. The goal was to fill his office with balloons, but apparently, that takes a lot more balloons than I anticipated! Either way, it was still a fun effect and the kids loved being part of a “top secret” project.
Grab Your Balloon!
We began by blowing up balloons and giving one (or more) to each child. We wanted them to write a special message to Pastor or something they appreciated about him.
Then, when Pastor was busy with prayer meeting, we snuck into the office and left all the balloons.
We probably had about 40-50 balloons, but as you can see, it could have used a lot more!
Either way, the Pastor was pretty surprised and excited about his balloon office.
What about you? What kinds of things do you do for Pastor Appreciation?
