If you’re looking for an easy party idea, consider a super Jump party for your Children’s Ministry.  Though it isn’t low budget, it makes a huge impact with the kids and is an amazing motivator!

Bounce Jump Party

Over the summer, we began an “Each One Reach One” campaign, encouraging every kid in the program to bring a friend with them. We promised that if we doubled the number of of kids that walked through our doors, we would throw a bounce house party.  Because we use KidCheck, it was easy to track the number of kids who had checked in during this time and when we doubled the number of unique check-ins, we began plans for a jumping good time!

During the process, we also wanted the kids to have a visual of their progress (it took them about 4 months to earn their party), so I set up a balloon wall mural featuring everyone who had come to our Wednesday night program during the campaign.

Balloon Attendance, Up up up (3)

The balloons were numbered to show how close were were to our goal and hanging on to each balloon was a picture of the child who represented that number.   The mural said, “Bringing Friends helps the level of fun go Up, Up, Up!”

The kids loved seeing their pictures on the mural and they especially loved the party.  Of course, we got some pizza to go along with the fun.  Even the parents commented that it was the “best event we’ve ever had”.  I was so glad it was such a hit, because it was the easiest event I had ever planned and executed.

Bounce Party

The company brought the three bounce houses in, set them up, and then returned 3 hours later to take them back.  No set up.  No clean up. Just a bunch of fun!
