With Christmas just around the corner, you’re likely scrambling to get things done while still trying to squeeze in some learning along the way! If you’re looking for a few easy toddler activities, grab a box of Fruit loops and keep reading.
Activity #1: Fruity Tree
Let your toddler or preschooler decorate a construction paper tree with fruit loops or cheerios.
They can either use liquid glue and a paint brush (shown above) or a glue stick, depending on the level of mess you’re willing to create!
Activity #2 : Fine Motor Fruities
Using a set of tongs (I picked some up at GFS) and an empty egg carton, have your preschool child practice their fine motor skills by placing one fruit loop in each of the egg carton spaces.
This one takes some serious concentration!
Who knows? Maybe you’ll even get some wrapping down during the Fruit Loop fun. 🙂
