We’re Homeschooling!

We’re Homeschooling!

I’ve been waiting for this day for awhile now.  Even before Abigail could walk, I was trolling the homeschooling websites and dreaming of the day when we could all learn together as a family.  Even though she’s not even preschool age (she’s 2.5), we’ve decided to kick off a bit of school learning this September.   If you’d like to keep up with our journey, tune in to Kelli’s blog, 3 Boys and a Dog, where I am serving as a regular craft/homeschool writer on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The great thing about working for Kelli is the printables!  This girl makes anything I need to go my lessons and she does a great job too.   Here’s a peak at some of the posts that have gone up so far:

I’d love to hear from other homeschooling families out there!  What are your favorite resources?  How do you organize your day?  What are your pinterest boards?  Leave me a comment and let me know!

  1. Congratulations on starting your homeschooling journey! Homeschooling is a bit of a dream of mine. I haven’t pulled the trigger yet, but that doesn’t stop me from collecting ideas! Here’s my homeschooling board on pinterest: http://pinterest.com/chrissyfoy/diy-homeschool-ideas/

  2. Thanks for stopping by Chrissy! I am now following you on Pinterest!

  3. We have used Five in a Row for preschool, absolutely love it. No huge investment and you can put as much or as little time into it as you want. I personally am anti-crafty when it comes to kids, shameful to admit, I know. I also love Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons.

  4. I’ve heard good things about both those. Personally, I’m a big fan of the making of crafts, but not keeping them. Unless they are really crazy about their project, they usually get tossed at the end of the week. Now that’s shameful!
